Weekend Plans
I was so excited this week because our daughter is going out with her friend to the movies on Friday then going up to my father’s house on Saturday. Free kid weekend! Chris and I were going to go out to eat and have a nice romantic ‘date’. Those plans came to a halt this morning. Our rental property (house that we used to live in) tenants called and said the kitchen light didn’t work. To make a long story short - our kitchen remodel guy screwed up the electrical - and he is my sister’s neighbor! Jerk! So in an effort to save money we are making a nice dinner at home and making a trip to Blockbuster. A nice dinner and movie at home on the big screen will be fun.
I love to use Blockbuster online because the shipping is so freaking quick and the movies are always here for the weekend. We haven’t sat down to watch a movie in quite awhile so it should be fun.
Chris also likes online game rentals. He loves his video games and so do the kids so renting them online is a great way to try them out before buying.
