Getting a New Job??
My husband is a .Net programmer and whenever he needs or wants a different job he always uses a recruiter. He’s had 3 jobs since graduating and each time has been through using a recruiting company. Using this method for job-seeking is awesome! It allows you to find out what is available in the field with regards to job potential and salary. What Chris loves most about using recruiters is that you can be 100% honest with the recruiter about the type of job you want, the job atmosphere and the salary.
My stepmother is reentering the workforce after about 20 years of being out of it. She is just not listening to me about the benefits of using a recruiter. She continues to tell me that she is just “going to keep looking myself for awhile”. Why not use a recruiter when you don’t have to pay a dime??
